In the span of a year, I photographed portraits of my colleagues at the Yale Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library in our shared workspaces with the paintings of men that hang there. I made these portraits during my breaks and sometimes even before the work day began. I edited and printed them in my personal studio.
I am grateful to my union colleagues who allowed me to photograph them and who share my vision that we can create a new workplace culture with different work on the walls.
